Circle girls roll past El Dorado with ease

WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - In week ten, Circle hosted El Dorado. The girls game started with an even effort by both squads with the Lady Thunderbirds holding a one-point lead by the end of the first quarter. In the end though, Circle would go on to beat El Dorado 39-8 final.

The Lady Wildcats scored zero points in the second quarter, two points in the third and one point in the fourth quarter with Victoria George accounting for half of El Dorado’s points with a team high four points.

Circle really pulled away in the second quarter with 13 points. Adie White scored a game high ten points and Erin John followed her up with eight. The Thunderbirds made seven of 21 free throw attempts for thirty percent shooting.

Sitting second in the district and moving to 10-8, the Thunderbirds will travel to Winfield next. El Dorado moves to a 1-17 record and will host Buhler next.
