WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - A close game in early January would be matched by another win for the Andover Central Jaguars, to see them complete the season sweep over Goddard, winning 60-53.

Andover Central got out to a fast start, primarily from the play of Brittany Harshaw. The Creighton-commit took control of the game early, scoring most of her first quarter points in the paint and earning trips to the free throw line. Goddard would try and find an answer for her dominance but it would not go without giving other players clean looks at the rim. Jaylee Jefferson was able to come away with an early three to boost the Central lead early.

Goddard would eventually rebound with Maycee James leading the way. The senior guard was able to overcome foul trouble in the first quarter to help her team find its footing down the stretch. James, an excellent scorer, capped off the first quarter with a buzzer beater three to try and garner more momentum.

Andover Central proved to be too much down the stretch for the Goddard attack, the Jaguars earning their third win in a row. The loss sets Goddard back but the Lions will have two chances to end the season on a high note, each coming at home.
