WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - A close game between Hillsboro and Hesston girls. The Lady Swathers pulled out to an early lead but the Trojans rallied in the second quarter to take the narrow lead. A three from Caryn Yoder at the top of the key gave Hesston a two-point lead going into halftime.

Even though free throws kept Hillsboro in the game, Hesston pulled away in the third quarter to win by eleven points, 49-38.

Anna Humphreys, Kendal Brueggen and Yoder led the Swathers to victory while Savannah Shahan added a majority of the Trojans points.

Hesston will face Wichita Homeschool on February 14th. Hillsboro travels to Larned on February 15th.
