WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - It was a night of celebration for Wichita Heights. Both on the court as the Falcon boys and girls picked up wins over South, and in between the games. That’s when coaches and players from the historic 2010-11 school year gathered to celebrate their 5 state championships.

That year was unlike any other in state history as Heights took home State Titles in football, boys basketball, girls basketball, boys wrestling, and girls bowling. A crowded gym took a trip down memory lane to celebrate with representatives from those teams.

Also a part of the festivities was the recognition of Boys Basketball Head Coach Joe Auer reaching his 700th career win on Tuesday. Those wins coming between basketball and baseball. Along with that for Auer, the presentation of his induction into the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame.

On the court the Falcons picked up both wins. The girls topped South 61-36, led by 29 points from Louisville commit Zyanna Walker. The Falcon boys won 66-42. Both T.J. Williams and Marcus Zeigler scored 16 for Heights in the win.
