Derby doubles up Maize South on the road

MAIZE, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Behind a stout defensive effort, Derby went to Maize South and made a statement, topping the Mavs 46-23 Friday night. Derby didn’t allow more than 7 points in any quarter of the game.

But Maize South hung in there, and got it within 13 in the 3rd quarter before Derby stretched the lead back out. Addy Brown scored 12 to lead the way for the Panthers. Maryn Archer added 9.
