QUINTER, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - It proved to be a big night Saturday for the Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks as both their boys and girls basketball teams came away with tourney championships in their rival Quinter’s gym.

Karoline Schroeder and Anna Godek joined her in double figures with 12 and 10 respectively. After trailing through one, the Thunderhawks put together a big second quarter and didn’t look back in what was a tight game until the end. Ava Gillespie led all scorers with 21 for the Bulldogs.
