WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Wichita Northwest wrapped up a perfect 16-0 season in league play Tuesday night, beating both Bishop Carroll and host Kapaun Mt. Carmel in a triangular to secure the City League crown.
The Grizzlies beat KMC 25-15, 25-15 in the first match of the night, then followed that by knocking off Bishop Carroll 25-14, 25-17 to lock in a regular season record of 37-1 ahead of the postseason beginning next week. Northwest’s lone loss came to unbeaten Washburn Rural over the weekend.
