ANDOVER Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - It was a hot start for Andover Central Friday night against Valley Center, and the Jags never let up. Andover Central cruised to a 51-10 win at home.

Andover Central scored on it’s opening three drives. Two of those touchdowns came on Ashton Barkdull runs, and the other on a bomb from Kai Kunz to Cooper Tabor. And just like that it was 21-3 early in the 2nd quarter. The Jags kept the early pressure on extending the lead to 42-10 at halftime. Barkdull had 4 touchdowns in the 1st half.

Andover Central stays unbeaten at 5-0, and will play at Salina Central next week. Valley Center falls to 2-3, and heads to Andover in week 6.
