Track Rankings are back! Catch it Kansas keeps tabs on all track meets held throughout Kansas, and return this season with athletes making their return to competition.

Sterling senior Tyus Wilson, a two-time state champion in the high jump, cleared 7-0 in his first varsity meet to open up a sizable lead in Class 2A and the state. He has since cleared 7-2, a mark that will be updated on the week three rankings. Wilson also has impressive marks in the hurdles and long jump.

In general, Kansas weather has yet to be overly kind to athletes around the state who have either had to battle cold, wind, rain, or all three. Still, most charts saw significant improvement in week two and will continue to improve as spring makes its big push.

Rankings are through meets held on Monday, April 12; if any results are missing or incorrect, please email mikecourson13@att.net and/or stats@catchitkansas.com.
