WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Third inning and Eisenhower already with a big 8-0 lead when Karlee Ford dropped one into center field by the fence, she’d get a triple out of it.

Then a wild pitch by Hutch let Ford come home from third and the Tigers go up 9-0.

A nice defensive play by the Salthawks. Carsyn McCue popped up in foul territory but Lauren Davis came from first base to record the out.

Lauren Mcnaught sent one right over the second baseman and that gave Grace Sykore time to run in for the score. Ike bumped out to a 10-0 lead.

Lainie Burkhart flew out to center but Emilee Railsback closed out the inning with a big catch.

Allyson Montgomery on the mound for Eisenhower. She tore through the Salthawks lineup, going three up and three down on strikeouts to close out the bottom of the third in no time.

Montgomery is a threat at the plate too, she lined one into left field for the two RBI single. Both Audry Rumsey and Calli McConnell scored.

Eisenhower won 26-0 over Hutchinson in the first game of the double header.
