Heights baseball shuts out South with 15-run win
WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Heights got out to an early lead over South in the first inning Friday afternoon.
Gaige Oakley flew the ball out to left field for the RBI double. Cooper Oakley crossed the plate to put the Falcons up 8--0.
Carson Smith also sent one out to left field, Aubrey Clark tried to cut off the runner at third but both Oakley and Dylan Depperschmidt scored for Heights to make it a 10-0 game.
Jackson Ellison grounded the ball up the middle, that brought another Falcon home and extended Heights lead to 12-0.
Cooper Oakley dropped the ball in behind the center fielder, both Caden Long and Ellis scored and Heights closed this game out scoring 14 runs after two innings.
Heights shutout the Titans 15-0, final.
