WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Maize girls got off to a quick start against Campus and went on to win 60-25.

Jumping ahead to the second half, Kyla Frenchers fed it up ahead to Brekkyn Pierce for the uncontested three and that put Maize up 36-13.

Frenchers worked her way inside and passed the ball to Baylee Miller underneath, Miller proceeded to toss it up. That’s eight unanswered points for the Eagles.

Alissa Brown passed the rock over top to Claire Jones, she sent it back to Brown who launched up the three. Campus trailed 42-16.

Olivia Wedman faced pressure under the basket, so she kicked it back out to Sydney Holmes who took it back to the paint for the mid-range jumper and that created the 34-point lead.

Frenchers came away with the steal and took it back the other way and laid it in off the glass to put the icing on the cake for the Eagles win over the Colts.
