WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Wichita East took a three point lead into the 4th quarter and was able to hang on for a 50-48 win over Kapaun Mt. Carmel Friday night. Several times in the 4th, Kapaun made a run to try and take the driver’s seat, but each time East answered.

East led at the end of every quarter, but never by a margin bigger than three points, in a game that stayed tight throughout.

Asia Dawson made big shot after big shot late, scoring 21 points in the win. Isis Sanders also had 21 points for the Aces.

Ella Anciaux and Lizzie Romer each scored 12 for KMC.
