Andale girls hold off Wellington to win by by 15 points

WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Andale girls with only four very close losses this season as they hosted Wellington on Friday night and they wouldn’t add to that column with a 52-37 victory.

McKenzie Fairchild got the bounce inside, then stretched out to lay it in and that extended the Indians lead 16-13.

McKenzie Fairchild got the rebound and took it back the other way and passed it to Katelyn Fairchild underneath. She kissed it off the glass and got the foul too. Andale built up to a 5-point lead.

Kami Reichenberger passed over to Mykiland French who was left wide open for the three. That narrowed Andale’s lead to two points.

The Fairchild duo again, worked to return the long ball favor. McKenzie passed out to Katelyn and banged down the three in and Indians went up 21-16.

Maddie Schrandt drew defenders away from Kelli Wegerer in the she got the pull up jumper, uncontested, to extend Andale’s lead to eight.
