Salina South’s boys stay unbeaten

MAIZE, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Behind 20 points from Josh Jordan, Salina South moves to 12-0 after knocking off Maize South 60-46 Friday night.

The Mavs came out of the gates hot, using an 8-0 run to open the game to get to a 14-6 score after the 1st. But the Cougars flipped it around in the 2nd to build a 20-19 lead going into the break.

The Salina South showed why they are one of the hottest teams in the state, outscoring Maize South 40-27 in the 2nd half. Devon Junghans added 14 points for Salina South, 8 of which came in the 4th quarter. Parker Scott led Maize South with 14 points.
