WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - The defensive effort from Heights deserves all the credit in a 65-37 win over Wichita West.

The stonewall effort caused the Falcons to open the game on a 16-0 run before Hezekiah Washington converted a three-point play after being fouled under the basket.

Offensively, the Falcons worked through the play of their guards to generate offense either in transition or from set plays. Chase Harris, a junior guard for Heights helped continue the early run taking a steal back to the other basket for a layup. Bronxon Frierson and TJ Williams both aided in the offensive attack for the Falcons.

West was able to use its advantage under the goal to start prior to Heights creating further separation down the stretch.
