HAYS, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Three Monarchs scored in double figures as Thomas More Prep went on a big first half run and didn’t look back in topping Ellis 56-38 Friday night.
The Monarchs took a 31-10 lead to the break, conceding just one made field goal in the second quarter. Kyleigh Allen scored 17 to lead TMP, while Sophia Balthazar added 13. Ellis’ Grace Eck lead all scorers with 22.
The Monarchs improve to 7-1 with the win, while Ellis falls to 6-2.
