Eisenhower keeps it’s foot on the gas pedal as Kennedy Nicholson drove to the hoop and made the easy layup. The Tigers begin to pull away, up by 15.

Payton Ryan passes the ball inside and the Tigers toss it up off the board and found the bottom of the net. Eisenhower lead 32-14.

Kelsie Kinniburgh was under pressure so she kicked it out to Ali Coash who then took it down the lane and laid it in for the bucket and the foul. Hornets trailed by 16 at that point.

Verbeck came away with the steal and she sent it back the other way, lobbing it ahead to Taylor Burkholder. Burkholder tossed it up for the basket and that gave the Tigers a 17-point advantage.

Into the fourth quarter, Valley Center did not give up. Olivia Niedens passed it to Kinniburgh who was open at the top. She drained the three to give the Hornets a little life.
