Maize survives slow start, beats Andale 60-28

MAIZE, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Maize picked things up after a slow start, and blasted past Andale 60-28 Friday night at Maize High School.
Andale slowed things down and controlled the 1st quarter, carrying a 9-7 going into the 2nd. After that, Maize woke up, holding Andale scoreless in the 2nd, and outscoring the Indians 53-19 the rest of the way.
The Eagles were led by Avery Johnson with 12 points. Jacob Hanna chipped in 11. Seth Reichenberger and Noah Bruce led Andale with 7 points each.
