WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - After a statement win over Bishop Miege last week, Bishop Carroll made perhaps an even bigger statement at home Friday night. The Eagles dominated in a 35-14 battle of traditional Kansas powerhouses.

Carroll got started with a 29-yard TD on a reverse to Oscar Gallardo with under 7 minutes to play in the 1st. Aquinas answered, but then Carroll jumped right back on top, as Aiden Niedens kept it on a short read option TD on the 1st play of the 2nd quarter. Carroll and Niedens were not done for the half though, adding two more Niedens scores to make it 28-7 at the break.

The 2nd half flew by as Carroll controlled things. Noah Maul added one more score, and the EAgles wrapped things up for the 35-14 win. Bishop Carroll finishes the regular season at 5-2.
