Wichita Heights boy’s soccer shuts out Southeast
WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Wichita Heights boy’s soccer traveled to Wichita Southeast on Thursday. Both teams struggled to find the net in the first half.
Monty Almaliky took a long shot on goal but Southeast’s keeper was there for the diving save.
That would wrap up a scoreless first half.
Minutes into the second half, Ethan Jensen fed it to Almaliky in the middle. He showed off some nice footwork for him to get around the defender and send it across to the back corner of the net. That put Heights up 1-0.
Keeping the pressure on the Golden Buffaloes, Zaid Sibaai passed it over to Faisal Arshad in front of the net who tapped it in past the keeper. That made it a quick 2-0 game for Heights.
The Falcons would finish this one out with a 4-0 win over Southeast.
