PHOTOS: 2020 Hays Cross Country Invite

The annual Hays High Cross Country Invite was held Friday at Victoria’s Sand Plum Nature Trail Thursday.

In Girls Varsity, Dodge City took first for classes 6A/5A, while Oakley won classes 4-1A. The Red Demons' Serenity Larson took first individually, running a time of 19:51.8, edging out Colby’s Lara Murdock.

For the Boys, Garden City topped the field in the bigger classes, while Norton won first for 4-1A. Salina Central junior William Griffith beat Dodge’s Angel Lanredos by four seconds for the individual gold with a time of 16:47.5.
