Wichita North boy’s soccer puts the pressure on Northwest’s defense
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Wichita Northwest boy’s soccer traveled to Wichita North high School for the first fall sports game among USD 259 high schools.
The Grizzlies defense was able to hold off the Redskins for the first ten minutes of the game but North’s aggressiveness wore Northwest down.
North was able to score three goals against Northwest in the first twenty minutes of the game and finished the first half with a comfortable 4-0 lead.
In the second half, the Grizzlies struggled to get their offense going as most of the team was back fighting off North’s powerful strikers and midfielders.
Northwest did have a stronger second half, not letting a single goal through to keep North from pulling away.
Wichita North beat Northwest 4-0.
