PHOTOS: Maroon & Gold Tournament

WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Hays High School hosted their annual Maroon & Gold Tournament Saturday, August 29th, the first high school event in the town since the Coronavirus pandemic.

Eight teams competed in the tournament, placing as follows

1. Thomas More Prep-Marian
2. Hays
3. Colby
4. Salina Central
5. Salina South
6. Wheatland-Grinnell
7. Scott City
8. Bucklin

Emilee Lane from TMP was named the tourney’s Most Outstanding Player, while Hays’ Brooklyn Schaffer earned Outstanding Defensive Player honors.
