    CHENEY, Kan. — Claire Winter may still be a novice at running in cross country meets, but the Andale freshman handled herself like a seasoned veteran at the Cheney Invitational Cross Country Meet, held Thursday afternoon at Cheney State Park.

  • Dodge City blanks McPherson

    The Red Demons changed home venues for Thursday night’s contest but it didn’t change the result. Dodge City blanked McPherson 6-0 on their practice turf, because the usual game site Memorial Stadium was occupied by the local middle school soccer team. That’s now eight straight victories. The Bullpups were ranked #4 in 4A coming into the matchup.

  • Derby wins AVCTL D-I title

    Senior Sydney Murray shot a 74 and no other Derby golfer topped 100 as the Panthers claimed the AVCTL D-I crown at Salina Municipal Golf Course.
