Southeast Saline trailed for most of their contest again Republic County but still managed to pull off the 47-41 win over the Buffs. It was head coach Chance Ptacek's first win over Republic County.

The game never got out of hand. Southeast of Saline stayed within one or two possessions of Republic County throughout the game, but never look the lead.

With under two minutes left to go and the game tied, freshman Jackson Montgomery fired off a deep three pointer that gave the Trojans their first lead 41-38 with just over a minute and a half to play.

From there, the Southeast defense held Republic County and the Trojans knocked down their free throws to clinch the victory.

Southeast of Saline was lead in scoring by Kendal Peterson who had 11 points.

Republic County's Drew Hoops and Trevor Allen lead the game in scoring with 12 points a piece.

The Trojan girls put away the Buffs to complete the night's sweep. They won 42-26.

The game was all tied up at the end of the first, 10-10, but Southeast of Saline shut out Republic County in the second and scored 11 points themselves for a cushion they were able to sit on the rest of the game.

Calli Calahan and Lindzy Kaniper lead the night in scoring with 12 points a piece. Erica Montgomery was also in double digits for the night with 10.

Kendsey Johnson had 10 points for Republic County.
