Southeast of Saline was down 12 players Friday night, including their starting quarterback, Cooper Bowyer, who broke his arm in the first game of the season.
Beloit showed no mercy, as Behymer took the opening kick-off to the house. The two point conversion gave Beloit a 8-0 lead.
Beloit quarterback Payton Vitter was injured on Beloit's next possession, but that didn't slow down the offense. The running game stepped up as Stanton Krone barreled through defenders for a 7-yard touchdown, putting Beloit up 16-0.
Southeast of Saline wasn't going down without a fight, however. With a great block by Bailey Ramsey, Cody Smith went 80 yards for a touchdown to cut Beloit's lead to just nine.
On the next drive, Beloit had the answer. Stanten Krone sprinted out of the outstretched arms of Davin Smith for a touchdown to make it 24-7 Beloit.
Beloit stopped Southeast of Saline and got the ball back. Behymer takes it on 2nd and 11. He got the first down and takes it all the way to the end zone for the touchdown.
Behymer also got it done in the air as well. He completed a 24-yard pass to RJ Jackson for a touchdown.
The final score was 62-13 Beloit.
