The Thanksgiving timeline for many people goes something like this:

1) Eat a big turkey dinner
2) Go outside
3) Play football with family.

For ten teams across the state, they are doing essentially the same thing, but these football games have a little more riding on the line.

It's State Championship Weekend, and by the end of the day on Saturday, five teams will acheive the goal they've been working for since August 15, the start of two-a-days.

With the final week of the football season, KWCH 12 and Catch It Kansas are changing up the programming for the Catch It Kansas Show.

Be sure to tune in Friday night for our annual Championship Preview show.  You'll see breakdowns of all five championship games at the regualarly scheduled time of 11:00pm on KSCW 33, cable channel 5.

Then on Saturday, tune in at 11:05 on KWCH 12 as we bring you a special Championship Edition of the Catch It Kansas Show. The Championship show will also be rebroadcast on KWCH at 11:00 on Sunday right after Sports Sunday.

And if you don't catch any of the televised broadcasts, check out CatchItKansas.com on Monday, where you will find the shows online.

Also, you can go Inside the Huddle, and get a behind-the-scenes view of the weekly discussions between the Eyewitness Sports staff and the Catch It Kansas staff.

Be sure to make your picks for U Pick 'Em.  If you haven't signed up yet, you can still join the contest.  Each week, anyone who picks more correct games than Bruce Haertl will be eligible for the weekly prize from Arbys.
