Class 3A State Champion, Conway Springs, and Central Plains League Champion, Garden Plain, dominated the 2011 All-League selection's top spots.
Conway Springs (13-1) snagged five spots on the first-team offensive roster and seven on defense. Brian Doffing (RB/LB), Trenton Ebersole (OL/DL) and Matt Seiwert (OL/DL) all earned first team honors on each side of the ball. Running back Cory Misak was selected as the offensive MVP while Seiwert shared defensive MVP honors with Garden Plain defensive back Lucas Jennings.
The Owls (11-2) garnered four first-team offensive roster spots and six more on defense. Joey Capul (RB/LB) and junior Tyler Puetz (OL/DL) both grabbed first team roster spots on offense and defense.
Between the two schools, Conway Springs and Garden Plain accounted for 9 of the 14 offensive spots and 13 of the 15 defensive spots on the league's first-team roster.
Bluestem and Chaparral were the only two other schools to have more than one player named to the first team.
Blake Bolander and Cade Minnick were each named to the first-team offense for the Lions, who reached the state playoffs for the first time in school history this year. Chaparral's Major Weiss and Clay Wilcox joined them on the list.
