On Wednesday, Feb. 1, Collegiate's student body and family members gathered to watch Trace Clark sign officially to Oklahoma State Univiersity.

"I chose OSU because I think it had the best combination of athletics and sports," said Clark. "And they beat Stanford in the Fiesta Bowl," he joked.

Clark received offers from 14 total Division I schools including Stanford, Iowa State, Kansas University, Kansas State University, Northwestern and Vanderbilt to name a few.

"I accredit my success to God and my dad and my brother because they have already been there and they helped me." Clark said.

Clark's older brother, Zach Clark, played for Oregon University and graduated last year.

Clark plans to study engineering at OSU.

"I am not for sure what type yet but I will have the first two years at OSU to decide once I get there," he said.

Clark has excelled not only as a student but also as an athlete. He has maintained a 4.0 throughout high school.

"My proudest moment is winning state championship sophomore year," Clark said. "Independently, I am proud that I have started defensively and offensively all four years.”
