After thousands of photos were taken this spring, and an exhaustive review of the Top 40, the Top 16 photos of the spring were put up for vote by you, the fan.
Since June 20th, more than a thousand votes have been cast, with the bracket-style competition narrowing the battle to the final 2. The bracket held out, and the #1 & #2 photos of the season where named the finalists.

The winning photo was also the top seed in the bracket. It shows Goddard catcher Jacob Baca taking a pitch as dirt fills the air around his glove. It was taken at the 5A regional championship game where Goddard defeated Great Bend 8-0.
