Every top-ranked team in the state remained from last week’s rankings, but the sixth girls’ tennis rankings proved different from all the other weeks in the sense that teams did move around within the ranks.

In 6A, the top four teams remained the same as last week, but Blue Valley West fell out of the top five and Maize took its place at No. 5. Ark City and St. Thomas Aquinas traded places as the Lady Bulldogs moved into the No. 4 and Aquinas fell to No. 5.

Class 4A is where some major changes occurred. Collegiate stayed at the top, but no other team is in the same place it was last week. Hesston made the biggest jump as it went from No. 4 to No. 2 and St. James Academy fell from No. 3 to No. 5. McPherson fell from the second-ranked team to the third-ranked team in 4A and Independence moved from No. 5 to No. 4.
