A few changes highlight this week’s state tennis rankings. In 6A, Shawnee Mission East remains as the top team in the class. Four Blue Valley schools are among the top five and three ‘Others’ category. Blue Valley North sits at No. 2, Stilwell at No. 4, a move up from last week’s No. 5 ranking. Blue Valley Northwest and Blue Valley West are among the three ‘Others’ teams.

Two Wichita city league teams in Bishop Carroll and Kapaun Mt. Carmel sit atop the 5A class ranked No. 1 and 2, respectively. Ark City and St. James Academy remain at No. 3 and 4, respectively, while Blue Valley Southwest comes in at No. 5.

In 4A, Wichita Collegiate keeps the top spot as it has all year. No. 3 Hesston and No. 4 McPherson have traded places this week and Winfield bumped Topeka Hayden out of the top five. Class 3-1A saw no changes.
