The 2011 Class 4A playoffs will have three North Central Kansas League teams included. With one game remaining in the regular season that much is determined.
Those teams will be Abilene, Concordia and Clay Center. Abilene won the 2011 NCKL title with an undefeated 5-0 record while Clay Center and Concordia will complete the 2011 NCKL schedule Thursday night when the Panthers of Concordia play host to the Tigers of Clay Center.
The 2011 NCKL standings are all but determined, but it is not the NCKL crown which Clay Center and Concordia football teams are concerned with. Each squad is more interested in the postseason.
