WICHITA, Kan.—
The Kansas Volleyball Association has released its first rankings of the season. Many of the 2011 state qualifying teams cracked the top five and every state champion is now ranked at the top of its respective class.The only 2011 state runner-ups that aren’t ranked at the No. 2 spot is Newton in 5A and Norwich in 1A Div. II. The only two 2011 state champions and now top-ranked teams that didn’t finish with at least 40 wins is Hillsboro (39) and Olpe (33).
