WICHITA, Kan.—
The Kansas Volleyball Association has announced the participants for the 2012 All-Star match in Topeka. The match will take place Sat. June 2 at Washburn University’s Lee Arena at 6:30 in the evening.The 25 players will be split into two teams, classified as red and blue. Players were selected based on outstanding play throughout the 2011 season. Smith Center, Phillipsburg and McPherson are the only schools with two representatives. Torie Fuller and Michaela Sasse will represent Smith Center and Haley Thompson and Raegen Vanderplas will represent Phillipsburg. For McPherson, Sophie Simon and Bethany Farres will play in the contest.
