Some big movements occurred this past week in boys’ soccer rankings. Starting with the all-class rankings, the only three teams to retain last week’s rankings are Blue Valley Northwest at No. 1, St. Thomas Aquinas at No. 2 and Washburn Rural at No. 7. Every other team in the top 10 moved at least one spot.

The biggest fall of the week goes to Olathe South, a team that was ranked No. 3 in the state overall last week and currently sits at No. 10. The Falcons were the second-ranked team two weeks ago. Wichita Northwest debuts in the overall ranks at No. 9.

Dodge City fell from the sixth spot out of the top 10. St. James Academy, much like Wichita Northwest, debuts in the top 10 at the No. 8-ranked team in the state.

In 6A, Wichita North moved from No. 3 to No. 2 with the Titan Classic victory. Washburn Rural knocked Dodge City out of the top five as it took the No. 5 spot. SM East also slides in at No. 4.

Liberal fell from the ranks in 5A as Great Bend moved into the No. 4 spot. This bumped Kapaun Mt. Carmel down to the fifth-ranked team in 5A. In 4-1A, the top five teams remained the same, just in a different order. St. James is now the top-ranked team in the class and Topeka Hayden is now the No. 2 team after a No. 3 ranking last week. Former No. 1 KC Christian fell to No. 3.
