WICHITA, Kan.—
Two teams remained at the same rank as last week, No. 1 Blue Valley Northwest and No. 10 Olathe South. Every other team either debuted or changed ranking. The fall of Bishop Miege from No. 2 to No. 6 this week means St. Thomas Aquinas moved up to No. 2 from No. 3 and Olathe East jumped two spots no. No. 3 McPherson moved into the top 10 in the all-class rankings at No. 8 after not being ranked last week.Topeka Washburn Rural fell to the No. 4 spot as Olathe East became the second-ranked team in 6A and Shawnee Mission East moved up one spot to the No. 3-ranked team in the class.
McPherson became the top-ranked team in 4-1A, moving up from No. 3 last week. It leap-frogged both KC Christian and Topeka Hayden, teams that now sit at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. Rose Hill and Baldwin are now the fourth and fifth ranked teams in the class.
