Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail-Division III - IV
Augusta split with Buhler after losing 4-3, and put up 5 in the first Inning and held on for an 8-6 win.
Mulvane beat El Dorado 6-3 in both games.
Winfield put up some big numbers against Rose Hill winning both games with a combined 25-3 score, (12-0, and 13-3)
Maize South defeated Clearwater 10-0 with Thurman rounding the bases, and in the second game 17-2, scoring 11 in the 3rd.
Wellington took down Circle in a close first game 8-6, getting an insurance run in the 5th, and put up 6 in the 4th inning of the second game to win 13-3/
Andale/Garden Plain beat Collegiate in a tight game 8-7, scoring 4 in the 6th to put them ahead, and won easily 11-0 with Wusterbarth getting the shutout win.
Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail-Division I-II
Goddard-Eisenhower scored 9 in the 2nd of the first game winning 15-13, and had to rally late in the 2nd game outscoring Valley Center 10-2 in the final 4 Innings to win 12-11 in 8 Innings.
Salina South beat Hutchinson 6-3 and scraped out a 10-9 victory
Maize tallied 7 in the bottom of the 5th to pull away from Derby in the first game 13-4, and in the 2nd game allowed 4 runs in a 14-4 win.
Salina Central split games with Newton winning 12-5, but dropping the next to Newton 6-5
Andover Central shut out Arkansas City 9-0 in the first game, and pulled away with a 6 run 6th inning to win 11-4
Greater Wichita Athletic League
Wichita Northwest shutout Wichita North 15-0 and 11-0, holding North to just 3 hits combined.
Kapaun rallied in both games against Wichita East scoring 3 in the bottom of the 5th and added 3 more in the 6th to win the first game 8-4, and got the go ahead run in the bottom of the 6th in the 3-2 victory.
Bishop Carroll surrendered 4 runs in each game against Wichita Southeast winning 18-4 and 15-4. Whitchurch for Carroll and Bulma for Southeast went yard in the first game; Plamer for Carroll and Sutton for Southeast also went yard.
Wichita South ended Wichita West’s rally winning the first game 8-6, and put up 5 in the 5th in the second game to put the game out of reach, winning 10-2
Central Plains League
Medicine Lodge scored early against Bluestem but Bluestem’s bats came alive winning 9-4 in the first game, and Bluestem pulled away in the 6th with 4 runs to win 9-5
Wichita Independent beat Belle Plaine by putting 14 on the board in the first 3 innnings winning the first game 14-3, and tallied an 8 run 2nd to put the second game out of reach winning 11-1
Wichita Trinity downed Chaparral 7-4 and blanked them 10-0 in the second game allowing no hits.
Central Kansas League
Kingman dominated Halstead 14-2 in the first, but Halstead pulled out the second game 6-4
Nickerson beat Haven 7-3 and 18-5.
Western Athletic Conference
Liberal gave up 6 runs in the first two innings to Dodge City and was unable to make any grounds dropping the first game 12-2, Liberal was able to keep Dodge City from scoring in the 1st inning of the second game but gave up 5 in the 2nd losing 11-1
