The Western Athletic Conference has announced its all-conference selections for the 2012-13 basketball season and league champion Dodge City leads the way with three players selected between the two teams. Each of the five WAC schools saw one player selected to the first team, as Great Bend was the only school with just one player between the two teams on the boys' side.

Hays' Brady Werth is the conference player of the year and Dodge City's Dennis Hamilton, in his 26th year, is the coach of the year.

The Garden City Lady Buffaloes were undefeated in league play and as a reward, three players were named to the first team and honorable mention squad.Two players were selected to the first team for Garden City. The only WAC school to not put any players on the first team was Dodge City, but had two players selected to the honorable mention team.

Garden City's Taryn Tempel was named as the conference player of the year and her coach, David Upton, was named as the WAC coach of the year.
