There are three new No. 1 teams in the in the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association's first rankings following break this week.

Class 6A

The top three remained the same on both sides of the Class 6A rankings this week. Wichita Northwest and Derby entered the boys rankings at Nos. 8 and 10. On the girls' side, Maize rose from No. 7 to No. 5 this week.

Hesston enters the rankings at No. 10, while Cheney slipped from No. 7 to unranked this week.
