WICHITA, Kan.—
Three state titles and a 72-3 record over the last three years are getting the Heights Falcons a lot of national attention these days.
Three national polls have the Falcons ranked in the top 25 to start the season.
ESPN Rise has the Falcons the highest at No. 11 in the country. No other Kansas team shows up in the top 50 of this poll.
MaxPreps starts the Falcons out at No. 18, while Sports Illustrated puts Heights just inside the Top 25 at No. 23 to start the season.
Heights opens the season on Friday at Wichita North against Conner Frankamp and his Redskins.
