WICHITA, Kan.—
West High played the North High Redskins for the second time this season on Tuesday. This time the game was at West. West was hoping for a better final result this game but most people say this game was just like the last. West lost to North by four points. The Pioneers put up a good fight taking the lead 1:45 left in the first quarter, West held onto the lead until 1:58 remaining in the fourth quarter. When the first half was over the Pioneers had the lead by six points.

Leading scorers for West were Seniors Daylin Thomas, Jeremy Wilson and Dexter McCoy with 13 points each.
“(It) was another close game that just slipped out of our hands. (We) came in without all of our people and some of us had to step up, but still couldn’t get the job done,” said Senior Dexter McCoy.
