Wichita Trinity looks to continue girls' tennis success with senior heavy team this year.

With eight seniors and two players with State experience in senior Natalie St. Clair and junior Amber Zimmerman, the Knights just might be able to do more than just show up at State.

Along with St. Clair and Zimmerman, senior Helena Dieckhoff and sophomore Taylor Hilton also have chances to make it to the State Tournament. Dieckhoff knows that goal will not be easily attained.

"I'm going to work at it with all I've got," said Dieckhoff.

With the help of coach Dave Zimmerman, Dieckhoff and Hilton may be able to break through, but even if they don't the girls will work as hard as they can.

"I expect the girls to try their best during the season," said Dieckhoff.

Trinity starts the season on Thursday, Aug. 25 at 3 p.m. in the Hesston Invitational.
