For the second straight week, there was no movement in the 6A ranks as Shawnee Mission East remains in the top spot. In 5A, Topeka Seaman wasn’t ranked in the ‘Others’ section, but jumped into the No. 5 spot after a solid showing at regionals. Salina Central remains as the top team in the class. SM South made its first appearance in the ranks in the ‘Others’ section. Seaman bumped Goddard into the same section.

After the mass of movement in last week’s rankings where just two teams stayed in the same rank, this week holds a completely different story. Every single team in the all-class rankings stayed put with the exception of Shawnee Mission East and St. Thomas Aquinas. The Lancers of East moved up to No. 3 and Aquinas fell from No. 3 to No. 4 in a trading of places.

Two teams kept the same ranking as last week in the All-Class rankings. The Olathe East Lady Hawks keep the top spot and Shawnee Mission East stayed at No. 4. Blue Valley West dropped out of the top 10 after a No. 7 rank last week. The biggest jump came as BV Stilwell moved from No. 5 to No. 2 and in the process moved St. Thomas Aquinas to No. 3 from No. 2 and BV North from No. 3 to No. 5.
