The Dodge City volleyball quad pitted the Lady Demons against Lakin, Sublette and Western Athletic Conference rival Hays. The Lady Demons' debut started their season off undefeated. They beat all three teams in two game sweeps.

Right out of the gate the Lady Demons took down the Lady Broncs in two games. Lakin senior Darrie Rogers made multiple great plays but the Lady Broncs could not finish through. They handed the win to Dodge City at the end of the second game 25-19.

Immediately following that match up Hays got their shot. The first game was action-packed and full of Demon Highlights, especially from Dodge City senior Ciera Lampe. Dodge took the first game easily 24-15. The Lady Indians had their chance to take Dodge into a tiebreaker and had the lead until 21 points. The Lady Demons surged from behind to win the match in two games 25-22.

While that game was keeping fans on the edge of their seats. Sublette faced Lakin in the auxillary gym. Rogers owned the net once again as Lakin went on to win the first game 25-19. Sublette got caught on its heels during the second game and again with the help of Rogers the Lady Broncs swept in two games 25-14.

The Lady Demons finished the night against Sublette. They won both games quickly 25-14.
