In November of 2008, voters in Wichita approved a $370 million school bond issue, which provided new fine arts & athletic facilities across the USD 259 district.

Part of that bond issue included new facilities at Wichita Heights high school. A new swimming pool, wrestling room & gymnasium are all opening up for the Falcons this summer, plus locker rooms for all the teams.

Wichita Heights Athletics Director Rick Wheeler recently took the Catch It Kansas staff on a tour of the new facility.
