After a stellar 20-3 record brought a No. 2 seed to the 4A state tournament, Wichita Trinity got the most nods in the 2012 Central Plains League All-League baseball team. The Knights picked up three spots in the first team, and four honorable mention players.
2-1A state champion Medicine Lodge was close behind with six on the All-League list, including four on the first team, more than any other CPL school, and two honorable mention selections.
Showing the depth in the league a third state qualifier, Wichita Independent, was also honored with five honorees, two on the first team and three honorable mentions. Bluestem garnered five on the All-League team with two first team players and three honorable mentions as well.
