The second week of track season saw 11 new boys' No. 1 marks and eight new girls' No. 1 marks.
The big new marks came from Emporia's Jerrell Morrow and Mill Valley's Emily Brigham. Morrow busted a long jump of 24-4.25 for the No. 1 mark by a foot-and-a-half and the 15th-best mark in Kansas history.
Brigham vaulted 13-feet even to become the first Kansas high school girl to break that barrier for the best mark all-time in Kansas history. She broke El Dorado graduate Jaimie House's one-year old mark of 12-9.
