The movement of Blue Valley North dropping to No. 8 from No. 5 opened the door for three teams to move ahead of the Lady Mustangs. BV Northwest, St. Thomas Aquinas and Shawnee Mission East all moved up one spot in the all-class rankings.
BV North also dropped out of the 6A top five, which made room for SM East to take the fifth spot in 6A. BV Northwest also moved up to No. 4.
In 5A, Bishop Carroll and St. Thomas Aquinas remained in the top two spots, setting up the showdown between the two teams this Friday in Wichita. Mill Valley jumped into the rankings at No. 3, pushing BV Southwest and Blue Valley down one spot apiece. Kapaun dropped out of the top five.
The lone change in 4-1A came when No. 2 Spring Hill and No. 3 St. James Academy swapped spots in the ranks.
